11 Months--All the world's her oyster, and every speck of it a pearl

That! That! That! Ingrit wants to know about everything! And when she finds something she wants you to know too. On her 11 month birthday, we went to the Children's Museum. Her favorite things were these porthole things with a button that lights them up so you can see what kind of animal lives in them. Snake might be her favorite animal. She was pretty excited about it. Plus, she got to pet the 4 foot corn snake again. A favorite thing.

First Parade on St. Pat's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Ingrit saw her first parade today. St. Paul, downtown. Very fun.

She's also trying out a bit of a punk rocker hairdo.

The Stuff We're Up To

The stuff we're up to is cellular phone! Ingrit loves the phone. I think she thinks that it's called "grandma" though. She just got her own toy phone and she's digging it. She's also loving bath time and looking forward to swimming lessons starting in two weeks.

Today we went down to Auntie Em's bookstore for a story time. Ingrit picked out a new book and saw one of her friends. Then we met Grandma for lunch and took a walk around Lake Calhoun. It was pleasant.

We're getting ready to remodel the kitchen, so I've been dragging little girl all around town looking at stuff. She really liked IKEA from the safety of her wrap though. We ate lunch together there. It was fun.

As I write this Ingers is dancing away in her play yard. She picks out cd's now. Pretty funny--don't think she gets that cartoony cover art does not really translate to cartoony music....

Ingrit spent the day at home with Mommy today. She likes to play with her blocks, her pop-up pal toy, the dog and the cat. She also likes to cruise around the furniture and she's getting really fast. She stands up all by herself now and loves to dance and clap. Happy baby. 6 teeth now.
